Tips to Lose Weight in a Hot Tub

Due to our sedentary lifestyle obesity is a major concern and it is very difficult to lose weight. Well some people say hot tubs can help.

This blog offers suggestions on how to lose weight, regardless of whether you're using MSpa Frame or MSpa Lite Series hot tubs. There is no secret formula for success, and you won't see immediate results. Patience is a virtue.

Here are the tips to lose weight in a hot tub -

1. Take a look at a variety of exercises and stretching options

Try a variety of stretching exercises while you're in the hot tub. You will burn more calories and move your body in this way. To ensure safety in the hot tub, you should not stand while you're stretching. You could lose your balance and injure yourself.

Place your back straight and legs in front of the hot tub. Grab your right knee with your left hand. Turn it to your left. Your left hand should be holding your knee. The right hand should hold the tub's edge. Your head should be towards your right shoulder. Continue doing this.

Another good exercise to do for weight loss in a hot tub is lengthening your hamstrings. Grab your right foot, which is now submerged in water, with both of your hands. Your right leg should be extended in front of you. Flex your right leg and point your toes. Repeat the process with the opposite foot.

While you are in the hot tub, you can exercise your arms. Straighten your arms while submerged in water. Clap and flap. This will make the water resistant. This will increase the strength of your shoulders, triceps and biceps.

You can also work on your legs in the hot tub. Keep your legs submerged in the water and move them like you're trying to pedal a bicycle. Your knees should be bent at 90 degrees. Your knees should be lifted up and down. Do this at least ten more times.

2. Set the right temperature

It is important to choose the right temperature. To burn calories, a hot tub should be as hot as possible. The water temperature should range from 37.7 - 38.8°C. Maximum temperature should be 40°C. You won't burn more calories if it gets hotter. You will end up compromising safety.

3. You might also consider other options for heat therapy

You might also consider heat therapy. You can also increase your body temperature by wearing a sauna suit or using an infrared sauna blanket.

4. Enjoy a Healthy Lifestyle

Most importantly, don't rely solely on your hot tub. It will not suffice if you are looking to lose weight. It is important to combine it with other weight loss strategies, such as exercise and diet.

These are tips you should keep in mind while soaking!
